Background

Our two community based groups provide educational, emotional and motivational support
to our members, their families, friends and caregivers.  Providers are welcome to attend our monthly meetings to share current medical and
other information that will address members
concerns in a warm environment based on mutual trust and respect.

The CSSG group has met continuously since
January 1999.  The Englewood group started in

Support Our Programs
CSSSG is a 501c3 not-for-profit organization.  We have a number of programs to provide support to patients and their families, including:

  • We provided 20 needy families (seniors and single parents with three to seven children) with a Christmas breakfast and dinner basket.
  • We focus on our members' children by providing them with back to school supplies, along with 100 inner city children.
  • We work with high school students to obtain their 40 hours of Community service by helping them plan and lead group meetings.

We are selling evergreens for the holidays.  Monetary donations can be mailed to CSSSG, 7729 South St. Lawrence, Chicago, Illinois  60619.
